Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

The Carpenter will assist with the project by building and repairing structures using hand and power tools while following construction regulations. He is also responsible for inspecting blueprints for information on the type of material and size of the structure to be built.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install wooden structures with precision and skill, including roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists, and bolts.

• Design and install cabinets, shelving, furniture, drywall, and insulation per project specifications.

• Add fixtures and fittings, such as door handles, locks and hinges to enhance functionality and appearance.

• Select lumber based on size and strength to meet task requirements and client preferences while staying within budget.

• Calculate fastener specifications for each job with meticulous attention to detail in carpentry.

• Effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, suppliers, and construction experts to build excellent relationships within the project team.

• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position

Qualifications to be successful in the role:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is essential.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience

• Must have NC II or equivalent construction certificates for carpentry

• Must be physically fit

• Experience with various carpentry tools and equipment, including manual and power.

• Excellent attention to detail

• Willing to work in Subic, Zambales
