Summary You will serve as a INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/SCIENTIST in the Overseas Engineering Competency (50G00) of NAVAL INFORMATION WARFARE CENTER (NIWC) ATLANTIC CHARLESTON SC. Responsibilities You will be responsible leading network design discussions, technical reviews, and provide guidance on best practices and industry standards. You will be responsible in designing, configuring, implementing, and optimizing network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and other systems to ensure maximum performance, scalability, security, and reliability. You will be responsible in developing enterprise network requirements, designs, and performance specification related artifacts to support acquisition planning and key acquisition documents. You will be responsible in evaluating new and emerging networking technologies and products to provide enhancement or upgrade recommendations. You will be responsible in developing and reviewing training and support documentation on network designs.
