JOB REQUIREMENTS: Internship- Supply chain Logistics and Inventory - INTER011806 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. JOB SUMMARY: Under supervision of Supply Chain and Inventory leadership team, perform entry level professional duties of moderate difficulty providing the opportunity for professional training within our Supply Chain. Perform assigned duties to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures and standards required for successful performance. May perform duties such as gathering and organizing data to provide information for departmental special projects such as process improvements, optimal layout, time studies, and ergonomics. II. DUTIES: A. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Responsible for supply chain project assignments, research, and analysis. 2. Analyze our Paid Goods for Resale (PGFR) process and identify opportunities for optimal layouts, best practices, distribution, and productivity. 3. Prepares project reports, progress summaries, statistical analysis, and related data within Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power BI. 4. Analyzes, generates and maintains records and other reference material necessary for departmental use. 5. Research new potential markets and product categories within our supply chain. 6. Responds to program related questions and sends written material as appropriate. Provides information and assistance to leadership. 7. Composes, types and prints reports, general letters, spreadsheets, e-mail, and memoranda from rough drafts or general instructions, involving the assembly of data from computer and paper file or record sources. Currently in school for Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, or a related field. 3. Transportation for a small amount of travel. 4.
