Description

A company in Studio City is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced PART-TIME Bookkeeper to oversee the financial operations within Yardi Genesis. **

In this role, you will provide critical support to the accounting department by performing a variety of essential tasks. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial records, while assisting with various accounting functions. You MUST be able to work FULLY ONISTE!

To be considered for this role, you MUST HAVE YARDI GENESIS AND PROPERTY MANAGEMENT experience.

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable, including generating payments and managing vendor relations.

Reconcile bank statements monthly and ensure accuracy.

Manage accounts receivable, including processing tenant rents and following up on delinquencies.

Enter and categorize general ledger transactions.

Generate and analyze financial reports using Yardi Genesis, including income statements, balance sheets, and general ledger reports.

Close out the general ledger on a monthly basis.

Assist with year-end closing procedures.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.

Stay up-to-date on accounting best practices and regulations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a bookkeeper in property management.

Proven experience using Yardi Genesis accounting software.*

Strong understanding of accounting principles (general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc.).

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
