Xylem Customer Service Specialist in Strzelin, Poland

The Customer Service Specialist will be responsible for the leadership of orders management, providing superior & efficient order management services from order acquisition and processing & shipping documentation generation.

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve customer complaints

• Provide support to the customers through the timely and proactive resolution of incidents (delays, postponements)

• Ensure follow-up and closure of high priority issues with large strategic customers

• Handle orders received and organize workflow to meet customer timeframes

• Make availability analyses against customer requests and negotiation with master planner for lead time

• Coordination with Shipping & Warehouse Department to plan shipments based on volumes, payments, credit and/or other requirements

• Sending to customers shipping docs + ship details (tracking, awb, etc)

• Performs escalation activities as well as handle claims on shipment discrepancies or damages (receipt and first evaluation with logistic team)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

  • 2+ years of professional on similar position

  • Experience working with integrated ERP systems

  • Excellent communication skills in English

  • Knowledge or different terms of payments terms and being able to cover all related steps

  • Knowledge of INCOTERMS and export regulations , i.e VAT implications

  • Continuous improvement mindset

  • Effective communication skills

  • Customer focus

  • Leading people will be an asset

  • Second language would be an advantage
