Lockheed Martin Maintenance Planning / LSA Analyst in Stratford, Connecticut

Description: Due to our ongoing focus on existing RMS talent and affordability within Sikorsky, only qualified RMS employees will be considered for this role and preference will be given to employees directly supporting the Sikorsky line of business.

THE WORK

- Responsible for delivery of LSA data including, but not limited to, Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Maintenance Plans & Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Analysis to internal and external customers in accordance with cost, schedule, quality and technical performance requirements as agreed to by contract.

- Be cognizant of International Trade Compliance (ITC) policies including interpretation of company policies and procedures, work instructions, and ITAR regulations in relation to Sikorsky LSA deliverables

- Support contract proposal initiatives by providing estimates as required for modifications and/or newly developed aircraft components.

- Ensure authorized technical review/acceptance review of analyst/subcontractor submitted packages to ensure compliance with statement of work, Engineering source data and departmental quality plan.

- The LSA Analyst will be the primary interface between the Engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT) and Logistics community.

- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with customer personnel.

- Provide feedback on all project requirements, statements of work, budgets and schedules.

- Provide/maintain inputs/status reports to LSA manager

- Maintain effective use of metrics for tracking quality of internal or subcontractor provided deliverables.

Basic Qualifications:

Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Wide and comprehensive knowledge of industry and company practices.

Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems. May refer to established precedents and policies.

Work is performed under general direction. Participates in determining objectives of assignment. Plans schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.

Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve objectives would normally have a serious effect upon the administration of the organization.

Represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.

Military aircraft maintenance experience - helicopter preferred

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
