We're driving efficiencies in the Dynamics Integrated Product Center (IPT), where innovative methodologies and strategic insights enable us to meet and exceed affordability, schedule, and production goals.
THE WORK
As an Industrial Engineer on our team, you'll play a key role in enhancing manufacturing efficiency by performing essential functions like manpower loading, capacity analysis, workflow/lead-time assessments, labor monitoring, and performance measurement. You’ll develop and analyze standard data, perform make vs. buy studies, justify capital equipment investments, and conduct learning curve analysis and estimates to optimize operations. By utilizing data tools like Microsoft Excel, Visio, Access, PowerPoint, Project, SQL, and Tableau, you’ll deliver insights through daily and weekly labor cost metrics reports, targeting critical areas impacting affordability, schedule, and production goals.
In collaboration with Operations Leadership, you’ll help craft and implement plans that introduce new technologies, refine processes, and support facility modifications to meet our evolving production needs. Additionally, you’ll optimize production layouts for future scalability, champion continuous improvement initiatives, and lead various projects within the Dynamic Components group.

You are a driven, analytical professional with a passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement. You have experience with manpower planning, capacity analysis, and process improvement, and are skilled in utilizing data and metrics to drive decisions. You’re adept with data analysis tools like SQL and Tableau, and excel at collaborating across teams to implement impactful operational strategies.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), particularly with Production Operations and Program Offices
Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments
Experience in applications of learning curves
Desired Skills:
Greenbelt Certified -experience leading process improvement activities
Earned Value Management (EVM), an understanding of Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and Cost Performance Index (CPI)
Aircraft Production, Maintenance, Modification, Repair and/or Overhaul Experience
Knowledge Work Measurements and Time Standards, Productivity and Performance management, Capacity Analysis, Cost Analysis and Estimating.
Experience with Excel Macros, Structured Query Language (SQL), Tableau, Alteryx
Experience with Systems, Applications and Products (SAP)
Previous Sikorsky Operations experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
