Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of leadership experience

• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency

• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Construction and/or manufacturing experience

• Technical knowledge of concrete production

Day in the life:

You will over see 3 plants in this role and they’re located in Stratford (Office location), Benmiller, and St. Mary’s.

As the Area Manager for Lavis Perth Ready Mix, you will be the primary point of contact between customers, employees, and the company. Core responsibilities include managing the financial performance; customer acquisition and retention; employee supervision; operational efficiency, health and safety compliance. Your typical day will involve being responsible for concrete sales and all associated tasks for plants assigned to you. This includes monitoring all activities related to bids, costs, pricing and client relationship management.

Leadership is essential in this role; you will be responsible for overseeing all employees including hiring, training and development. Your primary goal will be to ensure employees’ needs are being met and there are resources available to support them. Hand in hand with all the above, you will be leading the operations of the assigned plant(s). This includes but is not limited to health and safety compliance, productional efficiency and operational profitability.
