JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Job Purpose Provide product & process knowledge to the manufacturing shop floor employees, team leaders and supervisors. Inform Quality - Engineering - Manufacturing of product or process complications and observed errors. Coordinate efforts to improve methods and processes relative to tools, fixturing, training, process sheets / sequence of events and quality of product. Provide on the spot interpretation of drawings, special instructions, sales orders...etc. to maintain line flow. Stand as key link between design and manufacturing engineering, quality, sales, and manufacturing on the shop floor. Pass product and process knowledge to Methods Improvement Team members through mentorship and leading practice of process audits, EoL defect follow up, customer satisfaction issue resolution and First Unit Review activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 60% Reside on Shop floor -\> Perform Process/Quality Audit, Training, Data Collection/Capture improvements via ECR, Process Sheets, 10% review schedule & order preparation 10% Mentor, Train, Coach MIT team members through formalized process audit/scoring activities. 20% Follow up Documentation of issues & PDCA follow up, communication & cross functional team participation. Weekly report out EoL defects/SRO pareto by Supervised area, including for Top 3 issues: Process Audit Training Document improvement details & PDCA follow up as required, i.e. ECR, Process Sheet updates, Quality Alerts...etc. Companywide process audit / 5S Workplace Audit Coordination, scoring, top issues & follow up. As Required with documented report out Prototype & First Unit Review Ownership Customer Order / Sales Order review Nonstandard product & process preparation and follow up.
