Summary

The HR Business Partner is responsible for providing support across all HR functional areas and is the go to HR person at a site(s). The HR Business Partner will have the opportunity to participate in or lead company-wide HR initiatives or processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Collaborate with Sr. HRBP and site leaders to align and implement HR strategy

· Coach and advise line leaders

· Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies and procedures

· Administer HR programs, initiatives and processes at the site such as performance management, talent and succession planning, and employee engagement.

· Foster effective employee relations; conduct workplace investigations, coach supervisors and assist in resolving employee issues (or conflict)

· Support leaders on creating development goals/plans and facilitating development discussions

· Administer employee leaves by coordinating and communicating with leave vendor, employees and supervisors

· Conduct talent acquisition process for frontline positions.

· Facilitate onboarding and offboarding process

· Support supervisors in managing employee timecards and attendance records

· Create and maintain employee files and other employment related documentation in a confidential manner

· Maintain and update data in HRIS systems accurately and timely

· Assist in the implementation and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures

· Maintain confidentiality in all matters relating to employees

· Run regular and ad hoc reports for KPI tracking and other analysis to proactively recommend opportunities for improvement

· Coordinate training and development programs and assist in delivery of HR training programs.

· Identify and implement initiatives to continually develop the culture and engage employees

· Assist with planning and coordinating plant events and meetings

· Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations and organizational policies

· May provide HR administration and support to other functional areas

· Identify and implement continuous improvement measures

· Participate in or lead company-wide HR projects or processes

· May be required to perform other duties and responsibilities to meet the needs of the business

· Adhere to ERU food safety policies and all government food safety and sanitation regulations (ex. FDA, HACCP, GMP, OSHA)

Qualifications

Required qualifications, skills, and experience for the job; education background, certifications, relevant work experience, technical skills, and soft skills.

· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field

· 2 years of experience in HR operations or a related role

· Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment

· Self-motivated with proactive mindset working with moderate supervision

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· A team player with a positive mindset

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

· Problem solving, analytical, and facilitation skills

· Excellent organization skills and keen attention to detail

· Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
