E&I Technician | $38.50/hour

Monday – Saturday or Sunday, 6:50am – 7:00pm

E&I Technicians are required to troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems to resolve problems encountered during operation and restore the system to an operational state. Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoots equipment breakdowns and restores operation.

• Calibrates instruments and conducts routine maintenance and troubleshooting of control systems in both the process andutilities areas.

• Works with maintenance support and stock room personnel to ensure all parts transactions areproperly documented.

• Participates as a team member to perform root cause analysis of failures.

• Assists with checkout and startup of new equipment.

• Works with departments on maintenance reliability issues including motors, valves, instruments, controls, controllers, and DCS systems.

Requirements:

• Electrical/instrumentation background, with a minimum of a 2-year technical degree or 5 years of E&I experience in an industrial environment

• Should be qualified to work on all electrical equipment from 24VDC to 600V.

• Must be able to read and understand electrical drawings and instrument indexes.

• Must be able to operate specialized computer interfaces for diagnosis and troubleshooting.

• Experience with industrial process control systems preferred.

• Must be able to climb stairs, perform some lifting, sit or stand for long periods, work at heights,bending, kneeling, and be able to be respirator qualified.

• Must be able to work in all environmental conditions, including temperature extreme.

• Must be willing to work on shifts, on call rotation, or overtime as required.
