Required Qualifications (Evidenced by an attached resume):
PhD in Physics or foreign equivalent degree in hand by September 2021. Experience either at the graduate or post graduate level in Theoretical Nuclear Physics. Detailed knowledge of analytical and numerical techniques.

Brief Description of Duties: Applications are being solicited for a Postdoctoral Associate position(s) in the Center for Nuclear Theory at Stony Brook University. The Stony Brook Nuclear Theory Group is ranked among the best in the country and currently consists of the following permanent members:
D. Kharzeev, E. Shuryak, S. Syritsyn, D. Teaney, J. Verbaarschot, and I. Zahed. The research at CNT is focused on QCD at finite temperature, density, and high energy; hadron and nuclear structure; many-body theory; and the interface of quantum information science and nuclear physics.
- Within the predetermined research scope and methodology, conduct research in theoretical nuclear physics. Emphasis on QCD at finite temperature, density, and high energy; hadron and nuclear structure; many body theory; and the interface of quantum information science.
- Work with graduate students for collaborative research.
- Carry out analytical and numerical computations.
- Participate in Many-body theory discussions and seminars.
- Other duties as assigned, which may include attending Scientific Conferences and Meetings.
