Jackie Meza with Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Administrator in the Transport industry, based in Stockton, California. Responsibilities:

• Managing payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate payment to all employees.

• Utilizing ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing.

• Leveraging Microsoft Excel to maintain accurate payroll records and generate reports.

• Handling check processing tasks effectively, ensuring all checks are issued accurately.

• Conducting weekly payroll duties, ensuring all employees are compensated according to their work hours and rates.

• Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering employee queries about payments.

• Maintaining confidentiality of payroll information, adhering to privacy standards and regulations.

• Collaborating with the accounting team to reconcile payroll data and support financial auditing.

• Staying updated with the latest tax laws and labor regulations to ensure payroll compliance.

• Providing bilingual Spanish support to cater to diverse employee needs, enhancing communication and understanding.

Requirements • At least 3 years of experience in a Payroll Administrator role within the Transport industry

• Proficiency in using ADP Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Check Processing and managing Weekly Payroll

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred
