ASM Global is offering an exciting internship opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team at our Stockton Managed Facilities (Adventist Health Arena, Bob Hope Theatre, Oak Park Ice Rink, Stockton Ballpark and Stockton Marina). As a Human Resources Intern, you will assist in various aspects of Human Resource matters and functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the HR department in daily administrative tasks.

  • Maintain strong, positive employee relations through interactions with all levels of the organization.

  • Maintaining employee records and updating HR databases

  • Assisting with on-boarding new hires, including processing new hire paperwork

  • Assists department in conducting various HR programs and procedures for all company employees.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

  • Completion of undergraduate sophomore or junior year at an undergraduate college or university working towards a 4-year degree preferably in Human Resources or Business

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Detail- orientated and can efficiently multi-task

  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to provide high quality customer service through phone calls, email, and face to face interactions

  • Able to manage sensitive information in a confidential manner

  • Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: $16.00 per hour
