Insight Global Account Executive in Stockton, California

Job Description

An employer is looking for an Account Executive for the territory comprised in the Central Valley, CA area which covers the geographical areas of Stockton, Lathrop, Manteca, Modesto and Ripon. The Account Executive is responsible for business development. This entails door knocking, cold calling, lead generation and demand generation to set up discovery calls between company and client. This person must have an outgoing personality, a sales driven mindset and passion for the field of sales and telecom. This person will be trained and coached on the companys services to be successful in this role. This role will be split into 80% door knocking and cold calling. This person will be dedicated to unchartered territory. With only two people on the team, this person will have the opportunity to move up quickly in the role and work closely with/be mentored by the Director of Sales of this region.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years' experience in sales, specifically managing business accounts in either a sales or customer service environment

1+ year of practical, hands-on experience canvassing or cold-calling small and medium sized business customers

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work within Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision.

Excellent detail orientation and follow through skills.

Strong discretionary skills, as this position will have access to and work with information of a confidential nature.

Frequent to continuous driving, walking, bending and reaching.

Occasional exposure to inclement weather.

Occasional to frequent exposure to uneven surfaces, hills, stairs, heights

Occasional use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, etc.

Frequent to extensive local travel.

Possesses valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record per the company's standards.

Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds on a frequent basis (sales materials). Experience in fiber internet, voice or telecom fields null
