What you would do as our Support Field Engineer

As a Support Field Engineer, you would provide both onsite and remote technical support, as well as application consultation to resellers, integration partners, and end customers. Your role would also involve offering professional services, including software installations both remotely and onsite. You would serve as the main point of contact for technical support in Finland and report directly to the Regional Director of Traka Nordics.

You would also:

⦁ Coordinate with other technical support colleagues at Traka Nordic and the Traka Europe support team in the UK.

⦁ Troubleshoot and resolve various technical issues.

⦁ Keep all support, project and customer information up to date in appropriate software tools.

⦁ Assist with the setup and attendance of trade shows and other marketing activities as needed.

⦁ Provide input to management on the development of technical training and products.

⦁ Participate in and contribute to the Traka Europe Technical Lead Forum.

⦁ Deliver and maintain training for both resellers and end customers.

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

⦁ Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or has relevant work experience.

⦁ Has at least a few years of professional work experience with IT, SQL-server, IT-network and TCP/IP.

⦁ Is passionate about providing outstanding customer service, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a highly dynamic environment.

⦁ Demonstrates excellent attention to technical details and service.

⦁ Has the ability to prioritize workloads, tackle new tasks, and adapt to changing environments with flexibility.

⦁ Is fluent in both written and spoken Finnish and English.
