Supplier developer – ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions

What would you do as our Supplier developer

You will play a central role to ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions ongoing quality development journey. In the material category, you will create and implement our supplier quality strategy, as well as lead the supplier and product qualification process. With your expertise in electronics and electromechanics, your goal will be to add excellence into our cooperation with suppliers around the globe. Since we currently support suppliers in Europe and Asia, the work will involve some international travelling, up to estimated 30 days per year.

You would also: 

  • Be working in close contact with our suppliers, ensuring compliance to our processes and meeting specific product requirements

  • Be responsible for implementing APQP & PPAP processes in the supplier base

  • Manage non-conformities (NCR) between suppliers and ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions

  • Be a vital member of our New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, contributing with your experience and knowledge of the processes and the suppliers

  • Identify risks that can affect projects or ongoing deliveries, recommend actions as well as follow up on those

    The skills and experience you need   

    We are looking for someone who:

  • Has several years of demonstrated working experience within Supplier Development or as Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer or similar role

  • Has excellent understanding of electronics and electromechanics manufacturing processes

  • Is fluent in English, ability to communicate in Swedish strongly preferred

  • Is available to travel internationally (around 30 days per year)

    It would also be beneficial if you had APQP & PPAP knowledge and experience of introduction of these processes, competences within Six Sigma (Blackbelt or Greenbelt) and some knowledge about ISO9001:2015 standard and experience as Lead Auditor.
