As the Product Owner for our Hospitality Data Platform at ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data-driven solutions for the hospitality industry. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring that our data platform meets the evolving needs of hotels and enables them to unlock the full potential of their data. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker with a passion for leveraging data to drive business growth and enhance guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions' Hospitality Data Platform, aligning with business objectives and market needs.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including product management, data engineering, analytics, and customer success teams, to gather and prioritize product requirements.

  • Create and maintain a product backlog, prioritizing features and user stories based on customer feedback, industry trends, and business impact.

  • Work closely with development teams to translate requirements into actionable tasks and ensure timely delivery of product increments.

  • Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and review sessions, providing guidance and support to cross-functional teams throughout the development process.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for product-related questions and issues, serving as a subject matter expert and advocate for our Hospitality Data Platform.

  • Monitor product performance and gather feedback from customers and end-users to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous innovation.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge and drive product differentiation in the hospitality data space.

    Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in the data platform or analytics space, preferably within the hospitality industry.

  • Strong understanding of data management, analytics, and business intelligence concepts, with experience working with data platforms, data lakes, and/or data warehouses.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and drive consensus.

  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to gather and interpret data to inform decision-making and drive product improvements.

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals and deliver exceptional results.

  • Detail-oriented approach, with a focus on delivering high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.

  • Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence.

    Location: Position can be based in Stockholm, Landskrona, Gothenburg, Ski, Krakow with occasional travel as needed. We offer a flexible office policy with three days in office per week
