Amazon Product Manager (Contractor), EU Emerging Stores in Stockholm, Sweden

This position is for an 18-month Fixed Term Contract and will be based in Stockholm.

The EU Emerging Stores team is specifically focused on ensuring Dutch, Swedish and Polish customers have a great retail shopping experience with Amazon.

The team is hiring for a Product Manager to help with efforts in improving customer experience, particularly around the data we present to customers on individual products.

The Product Manager will have ownership of a number of projects and initiatives. Key responsibilities include (1) owning data quality input metrics across NL, SE and PL stores where you will need to build and implement plans to drive improvement and achieve goals. (2) Collaborating with different international and multi-functional teams to deploy scalable solutions (often AI-based) and manage the operations of such programs and tools in the countries of focus. (3) Supporting other initiatives to improve customer experience.

Basic Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or Statistics

  • 3+ years professional experience

  • Background in either Retail, Management Consulting, Banking or Tech

  • Experience with complex quantitative analysis

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel

  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

  • Technical aptitude and agility to leverage web-based tools

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience of working in e-commerce

  • Proficiency in SQL

  • Fluency in either or a combination of Swedish, Dutch or Polish
