Position for enthusiastic veterinary assistant or registered veterinary technician with a passion foremergency and critical care. Successful candidates will provide clinical assistance toprofessional staff and a variety of treatments to patients admitted to theVeterinary Teaching Hospital(VTH).Candidates will have the opportunity to actively participate in one-on-one trainingof veterinary students, as well as work alongside veterinary specialists to provide clients andpatients with the highest standard of care.

Preference for applicants that have an associate degree in veterinary technology (or equivalent) and licensed as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or eligible for RVT license in Oklahoma. This is a full-time position with varying shifts and hours. Shift differentials are available for nontraditional shifts. Every full-time employee receives a full benefits package. The VTH is a 145,000 square foot, full-service veterinary teaching hospital providing 24-hourcare for all domestic and selected exotic and wildlife species. The VTH admits more than 15,500clinical cases per year and hospitalizes 5-8 ICU cases per day. Our Critical Care Unit is a state of-the-art facility and is staffed with capable, competent technicians. Our hospital is equippedwith digital radiography, MRI, CT, ultrasound, endoscopy, 24-hour access to full clinicalpathology lab, oxygen cages, pulse oximetry, capnography, I-Stat point-of-care testing,telemetry, blood pressure and central venous pressure monitoring, Pleur-Evac suction units,and ventilator therapy.
