JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB ID: 21007 Position Title: Office Manager TTC Title and Code: Administrative Assistant II (AD002) FTE: 100% Principal Work Location: UW-Stevens Point, Main Campus Supervisor: Director, Office of International Education Position Summary The Office of International Educations Office Manager contributes mightily to OIEs high-impact and life-changing student-centered programming. OIE is a team environment where creative and empathetic problem-solving is encouraged. OIEs work is truly global in nature and rarely are two days just alike. Flexibility, a sense of humor, and a tolerance for ambiguity are characteristics which will serve one well in this role. This position requires the ability to perform a wide variety of administrative duties. These include managing office communications; assisting students and staff with the study abroad application processes and international student & scholar services (ISSS); managing confidential student information, managing study abroad departure materials and insurance enrollment for travelers, managing traveler flight information and ticketing, and processing scholarship and grant applications, and periodically representing the OIE at campus events. The OIE Office Manager performs a wide variety of administrative duties for the Director and the Study Abroad & National Student Exchange (NSE) Adviser including preparation of confidential correspondence, scheduling meetings, and overseeing the office calendar. The incumbent maintains study abroad program records in a central office location. This position requires a significant degree of organizational and interpersonal communication skills, independent decision-making, and the ability to respond to frequent policy/regulatory changes, an overall knowledge of study abroad program requirements and options as well as database, spreadsheet, word-processing, and electronic calendar skills.
