[KMS Solutions LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer to support NSWC Naval Surface Warfare Centre Dahlgren Division Dam Neck Activity (NSWCDD DNA) Systems Engineering which provides support for Integrated Training Systems (ITS) and serves as the Software Support Activity (SSA), In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA), Cybersecurity (Cyber), Safety, Test and Evaluation (T&E), and Readiness support for assigned systems. These system assignments include the hardware, software, subsystems, and elements that comprise the specific system. These activities are conducted in support of the United States (U.S.) Navy, Multi-National and Multi-Agency Naval and Department of Defense (DOD) sponsors. Modelling and Simulation (M&S) is a key capability that supports test and evaluation, training and readiness, and performance assessment. M&S is a core element of this support contract.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[General Duties/Experience:]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

  • [Plans and designs systems infrastructure including the implementation and design of hardware. Analyses, develops, modifies, tests, and maintains the system. Verifies and validates systems meets internal and external requirements. Diagnoses problems and provide recommendations for improvement on existing and new systems.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}
  • [A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}
  • [Support the systems integration engineering management planning efforts and support of key programmatic and process documents.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}
  • [Provide programmatic technical briefings and point papers that may be presented.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}
  • [Collaborate with stakeholders such as Navy field activities, Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) and NAVSEA codes, and other Navy, military, and agency program participants to discuss engineering level issues and topics.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}
  • [Review concepts, plans, demonstrations, and other documents as required, providing analysis and recommendations.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}
  • [Support capability phasing and conduct requirements analysis as required.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[Required Education:]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[Required Experience:]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

  • [At least four to eight (4-8) years full-time professional experience working as a systems engineer.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}
  • [Experience in at least one major shipboard, non-propulsion electronic subsystem. ]{times="" new="" roman""=""}
  • [At least two to four (2-4) years must have been full time experience at the system level.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}
