Nightwing is seeking a Logistics Team Lead with proven ability to lead a logistics team in the fulfillment of full life-cycle logistics requirements for a large and dynamic program. The Logistics Team Lead is a proven leader, a self-starter, and willing to go the extra mile to meet mission requirements in a fast paced, dynamic environment. You will be leading a diverse, dynamic team of quality logistics professionals motivated to the mission and contract success.

The Logistics Team Lead will manage a team of 10-15 logistics professionals both as a personnel supervisor and as a tasking lead for day-to-day warehouse operations. Must be a team player with knowledge and experience in all facets of warehouse operations including but not limited to Receiving, Inventory, Shipping, Transportation, Data Entry & Audits. The Logistics Team Lead sets the direction and strategy for logistics compliance with program requirements, recommends process improvements, and collaborates with the Program Management Office and Customer on Logistics performance concerns.

You will interact with both internal and external customers on a daily basis both in person and via other communication channels. You will manage transportation planning for primary support to facilities in the local Washington Metro Area, regionally, and occasion support to facilities nationwide. Our operations may require work in inclement weather to complete tasking.

Clearance Requirement: Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance with active Polygraph.

Required:

Individuals will be required to lift up to 50-pound items unaided

Move heavier items with various warehouse equipment

Obtain and maintain a DOT Medical card, forklift certification and DOT/IATA Hazardous

Materials certification

Demonstrable logistics related experience

10 years of experience

Education: Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
