Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Subsystem Design Engineer for one of our large defense clients that can sit fully remote with possible travel on a project need basis. This person will be responsible for the development of System Requirements, System Architecture and Subsystems Design that will be utilized for implementing embedded software solutions within vehicle electronic components. This will include the use and creation of any necessary interface control documents, communication protocols and user interface documents. This person will be supporting ground combat vehicles along their multi-functional video displays.

$50/hr to $70/hr : Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with the development of System Requirements, System Architecture, and Subsystems Design

• Experience with one of the following: SysML, Magic Draw, Visio, MBSE

• Understanding of the functionality capabilities of components and how they interact/communicate with each other

• Experience with the use of sequence diagrams, functional state machines, one-wire diagrams, component diagrams, System Subsystem Design Documents (SSDD or S/SDD) or Interface Control Documents (ICDs) to depict vehicle architecture

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering field

• Ability to obtain s DoD Secret Clearance - Previous DoD experience

• Active Secret Clearance

• Previous ground combat vehicle experience null
