In this position...

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Production Control Analyst to join our dynamic automotive team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving production processes to ensure efficiency and quality in our manufacturing operations. As the production control analyst, you will work closely with various departments including engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain management to coordinate production schedules and optimize resource utilization. Your analytical skills will be critical in identifying trends and issues that could impact production timelines and product quality. You will utilize statistical tools and methodologies to analyze data and make informed decisions that enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Additionally, you will play a vital role in the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the overall success of our organization. What you'll do...

  • Monitor and analyze production performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize efficiency.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast production needs and adjust schedules accordingly.

  • Utilize ERP systems to track inventory levels, production orders, and material requirements.

  • Identify production bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance workflow.

  • Prepare and present reports on production efficiency and performance to management.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of lean manufacturing principles and practices.

You'll have...

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

Even better, you may have...

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or a related field

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in production control or manufacturing within the automotive industry

  • Strong proficiency in ERP and MRP software systems

This position is a range of salary grades 6, 7 and 8.
