Position Summary

The Part-Time Facilities Maintenance Mechanic job classification focuses on maintenance and repairs to a large and varied inventory of City facilities and equipment. Under the direct supervision of the Facilities Maintenance Director, the Facilities Maintenance Mechanic will be exposed to a wide variety of inspection, maintenance and repair projects, which require hard work, commitment to task, organization, and technical and problem solving skills to successfully complete. A commitment to good communication and customer service are essential.

Under the supervision of the Facilities Maintenance Manager, the Facilities Maintenance Mechanic performs inspections, maintenance, and repairs of structures, equipment, components, furniture and furnishings at City facilities and installations.
