Childspace is a small, relaxed certified childcare center seeking passionate Early Childhood Teachers to support nature- and play- based learning. Toddler class of 10 with 2 teachers; preschool class of 15 with 2 teachers. FULL TIME, YEAR ROUND

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum based on our natural world and children's interests

• Provide and maintain a safe, inviting, and nurturing classroom environment and outdoor play areas

• Implement consistent and flexible classroom routines that support children's individual needs

• Use positive classroom management skills and guidance strategies to promote cooperative and creative play among children

• Communicate effectively with parents daily and weekly using a variety of communication methods

• Ensure state and center regulations, policies, and procedures are followed

-Supervise, guide, and support classroom assistants, aides, volunteers

Qualifications:

Experience as a childcare or preschool classroom lead teacher for either 1 -2 year olds or 3 - 5 year olds - preferred

Reliability, flexibility, time management, communication, and organization skills - required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 -- 40 per week
