The Data Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Manage and develop the global ESG data reporting structures, procedures, quality checks, and validation

  • Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of ESG data reporting towards Danaher and external stakeholders

  • Enabling easy access to real-time data and benchmarks throughout the organisation

  • Collaboration with IT and other relevant departments to ensure that ESG data is integrated effectively into Radiometer's systems and processes

  • Development and maintenance of relationships with external data providers and vendors to ensure access to accurate and reliable ESG data

    You will be a part of the Global Sustainability, EHS, and Facility Management team and report to the Global Environmental Sustainability Director (located in Copenhagen Denmark). Global Sustainability is a 1½ year old department supporting all of Radiometer in meeting sustainability goals, which includes a commitment to SBTi and fulfilling the requirements in CSRD. Sustainability is a data-heavy area and requires a robust approach to data management.

    The department works to collect, analyze, and report on key sustainability metrics across the organization, including energy consumption, waste and water reduction, and greenhouse gas emissions. By leveraging data, the Global Sustainability team can identify areas for improvement and develop targeted strategies to reduce Radiometer's environmental impact from our 7 production factories in 6 countries as well as from our products.

    Additionally, the department works to ensure that Radiometer complies with relevant sustainability regulations and standards, and to engage with stakeholders on sustainability initiatives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and implement an ESG data management strategy that aligns with Radiometer's business objectives and meets regulatory requirements

  • Continuously ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency of ESG data across all relevant systems and databases

  • Identify and address data quality issues, including data gaps, errors, and inconsistencies

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize ESG data needs and requirements

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest ESG reporting standards, regulations, and best practices

  • Grow your interest in artificial intelligence and work with Radiometer very own AI tools

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Strong knowledge of data management tools and systems, such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, API, and data visualization software

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to identify and address data quality issues

  • Speaks and writes fluent English

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external data providers

  • Travel up to one week at a time 2-4 times per year

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and standards, such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals or the Global Reporting Initiative

  • Familiarity with sustainability reporting software

  • Working on your own without daily face-to-face contact with your nearest colleague and manager

  • Working with or demonstrate an interest in artificial intelligence and its applications

This is a new position in Global Operations and will be located in Stargard.
