Position Summary:The Operations Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting and executing strategic initiatives within the bank's operations department. This position provides regular and recurring operational and accounting functions while contributing to process optimization, innovation, and the overall efficiency of banking operations. Key Responsibilities:Participate in identifying opportunities for process improvements and brainstorming ways to enhance efficiency in bank operations. Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing special projects within the operations department. Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to project performance and operational metrics.Help reconcile and balance general ledger accounts and other bank accounts. Aid in the development and system implementation of new bank products and services. Provide excellent customer service and resolve problems within given authority.Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all procedures associated with functions in the Operations Department.Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports as needed.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, operations management, or another related field OR three to five years of related banking or accounting experience.Analytical mindset with the ability to work with data and draw meaningful conclusions.Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.Proficient level of computer competency, including Microsoft Excel.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proactive attitude and eagerness to take on new challenges.
