Job Title: Pharmacy TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician with prescription prior authorization experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing prescription prior authorization claims and resolving medication access issues on behalf of hospitalist providers. This role is crucial in ensuring that patients receive their medications promptly and efficiently while maintaining compliance with insurance and regulatory requirements. This role does not require any compounding or fulfillment and focuses more on the services side of the pharmacy, ensuring patients are getting the most cost-effective and efficient medications.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Stanford, California.

Work Environment

Will be working 8-hour shifts, mainly M-F with rotating weekends. Shifts are all in the day but start time can vary from 7 AM, 8 AM, or 10 AM. Will have some days throughout the month hybrid but will mostly be onsite. Must be comfortable being in a hospital environment and facing patients.
