Role Summary/Purpose:

The VP, Analytics - Health & Wellness Network Solutions role is responsible for providing strategic insights and analytics framework to accelerate product expansion (data integration with Allegro and Ally, implementation of Pay Later), channels and presentment (strategic technology partners such as multi source financing), provider solutions (process improvement and optimization), reporting governance, as well as serving as the liaison with centralized analytical teams for Digital and Product.

This role will be part of the leadership team for Health & Wellness product offering and user experience design and build, launch and optimization, providing expertise and insights, proposing business solutions and action plans to H&W SLT team. This role will lead a team with onshore and offshore team members, managing both direct and matrixed resources.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading the Health & Wellness Analytics vision, roadmap, development & optimization, commercialization and user adoption of new products, strategic technology partners, multi-source financing and digital capabilities.

  • Lead provider network governance analytics to improve provider processes and controls.

  • Lead Health & Wellness reporting optimization and governance , by consolidating and decommissioning reports, centralizing support, and streamlining report development and maintenance, ensuring all adhere to necessary procedures.

  • Lead analytics support to develop and implement business strategies as well as optimize existing products and channels across CareCredit and installment, by partnering closely with Sales, Strategy, IT, Finance and Credit.

  • Design and implement new metrics, KPIs, reporting that delivers insights on new product performance, STP partnerships, MSF and digital capabilities .

  • Develop business case presentations and action plans to drive business strategy; including targeting recommendations, test design, cross-sell optimization, product opportunities and cost/benefit analysis to share with cross functional team.

  • Support Strategic Initiatives, evaluate investment decisions and influence strategy to ensure business profitability

  • Act as a trusted advisor to solve complex business problems and provide actionable recommendations based upon data driven insights

  • Establish a test and learn culture and provide guidance and leadership for the design, analysis and measurement phases of campaigns and large-scale projects.

  • Perform various forms of ad-hoc analysis as requested

Additional Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all aspects of the consumer finance industry

  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the Health & Wellness competitive landscape

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, economics, accounting, finance, or business-related field or in lieu of degree, 13+ years equivalent experience in product development, portfolio management, marketing, or loyalty programs in credit card and/or financial service business, or credit card risk strategy.

  • Minimum 9+ years of analytics experience

  • 5 years of experience supporting product or digital marketing

  • 5 years of project management

  • 5 years of utilizing SAS or SQL and advanced spreadsheet and presentation tool experience

Desired Characteristics:

  • Master's degree preferred, with Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Decision Science or Quantitative Analysis.

  • Experience in consumer financial services, credit card payments, retail, fintech or consulting with a consumer data analytics focus.

  • A preferred candidate will have 7 years of progressive experience in Analytics with a demonstrated track record of execution, communication and technical analytical skills.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong financial modeling and MS Excel skills

  • Ability to analyze complex issues, develop appropriate action plans and deliver timely results.

  • Proven leadership abilities and the ability to lead / engage on cross-functional projects

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with staff (at all levels) and to develop a clear, concise message and influence outcomes.

  • Passionate, proactive, responsible, resourceful, detail-oriented, hard-working and willingness to learn

  • Proven influencing and persuasion skills

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects/tasks

  • Strong written, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with team members and management, while maintaining independence

  • Ability to communicate and interact with senior management

Grade/Level: 13

The salary range for this position is 150,000.00 - 250,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
