Job Overview:

Seeking an experienced Product Owner with a strong background in CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) systems to drive the development and optimization of a CPQ platform within the telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate will have experience working with CPQ solutions and a deep understanding of telecom operations. While experience with Netcracker CPQ is preferred, we welcome candidates with expertise in other CPQ platforms (such as Apttus) who are eager to transition, learn, and add value in a Netcracker environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for all CPQ-related matters, ensuring alignment with business objectives and telecom service offerings.

  • Define, prioritize, and manage the CPQ product backlog, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.

  • Translate business needs into detailed user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria to guide development teams.

  • Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospective meetings, ensuring continuous improvement in product delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders (Sales, Operations, IT, Finance) to gather feedback, refine requirements, and ensure the CPQ system supports the organization's sales strategy.

  • Oversee the integration of the CPQ platform with other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, ERP), ensuring seamless data flow and system compatibility.

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the CPQ solution, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, telecom advancements, and innovations in CPQ technologies to drive product improvements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role, with at least 2-3 years working with CPQ platforms in the telecommunications or services industry.

  • Telecom Expertise: strong understanding of telecom services and operations, particularly as they relate to sales processes and product configuration.

  • CPQ Expertise: Experience with CPQ processes, including product configuration, pricing, quoting, and contract lifecycle management (Netcracker CPQ experience preferred, Apttus CPQ or similar also considered).

  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with CPQ configuration, integration, and customization; experience with data management and APIs.

  • Agile Methodology: strong experience with Agile frameworks, including backlog management, sprint planning, and iterative development.

  • Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Problem-Solving: Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification.

  • Industry Experience: Extensive experience in telecommunications, technology, or services sectors.

  • CRM/ERP Expertise: Familiarity with enterprise systems such as Salesforce and SAP.
