Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Contract Human Resources Assistant to join our HR team. The selected individual will support the HR Department in the implementation of personnel procedures and will assist in overseeing all HR-related matters.

Responsibilities:

• Support recruiting and staffing logistics, onboarding process, and employee orientation.

• Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, leaves, etc.)

• Handle documentation and prepare reports related to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc.)

• Coordinate HR projects and meetings (meetings, training sessions, surveys etc.) and take minutes.

• Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR department.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice.

• Answer employees' queries about HR-related issues.

• Assist in the communication of HR policies and procedures.

  Requirements

• Proven experience as HR assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position.

• Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices.

• Strong ability in using Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel).

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle data with confidentiality.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.

Working Conditions:

This is a contract role with the possibility of permanent employment based on job performance and company needs. The position is located in Stamford, CT, and typical working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
