Financial Services Office (FSO) - Consulting - Business Design - Profit Improvement (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1517799), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Stamford, CT.

Advise financial institutions on improving their profitability and performance as well as accelerate impact delivery. Deliver strategic advisory services to diagnose and develop portfolios of improvement initiatives. Break down complex problems into smaller problems and create metric trackers to evaluate available options. Support the development of client proposals and thought leadership. Use clients’ strategic objectives and fact-base to apply structured problem-solving to solve complex problems. Develop insights by engaging with clients and staying abreast of leading industry practices and innovation. Support developing new offerings and thought leadership to take to market, enhancing our capabilities and services. Assist in business development and lead the delivery of engagements.

Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40-45 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field, plus 5 years post-bachelor’s progressive related experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field, plus 4 years of related experience.

Must have 3 years of experience in financial services in one or a combination of the following: working in a financial services company and/or as a consultant in a professional services firm.

Must have 3 years of experience delivering strategic advisory services in a combination involving at least 3 of the following:

  • Value creation

  • Cost reduction

  • Margin improvement

  • Target operating model development

  • Operational investment portfolio management

  • Continuous planning

  • Strategic sourcing

  • Procurement

  • Benchmarking

Must have 3 years of experience in defining, communicating, and tracking metrics for success (OKRs and KPIs)

Must have 3 years of experience in driver tree analysis.

Must have 3 years of hands-on experience developing models using analytic tools to analyze large complex data sets, including one or a combination of the following: Excel, Tableau, and/or similar.

Travel required up to 60%, of which 50% may be international, to serve client needs.
