VANS EMEA is looking for an exceptional Apparel Graphic Designer to join our Apparel & Accessories team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s Talk about the Role

You as the Apparel Graphic designer will conceptualize, design and execute brand elevating and best selling graphics for the Vans Apparel & Accessories range.

You will strive to connect with our consumer by creating elevated graphics which meet relevant trends, whilst also staying true to brand. You will partner across teams to bring a design-led point of view while understanding and meeting business and customer needs.

How You Will Make a Difference

You will achieve this by:

  • Cultivating a deep understanding of the brand and consumer globally and in EMEA region

  • Driving the apparel seasonal graphic design direction based on EMEA trends and providing our regional and global merchandising team with visual and factual cues through formal presentations and/or on-going informal interaction.

  • Collaborating with our marketplace team to support our key account SMUs (Special Make-Ups) and regional OMUs (Open Make-Ups)/Energy packs: executing graphic designs and seasonal color CADS based on briefs.

  • Adhering to the Vans graphic design process and direction for all SMU and OMU projects, and partnering with the global organization on brand guidelines.

  • Participating as a hands-on member of the Apparel & Accessories team, collaborating on product briefs and pro-actively delivering solutions against business needs.

  • Effectively communicating and working cross functionally with Product Development, partnering on quality and accurate design techpacks.

  • Meeting/exceeding expectations on all deliverables, from accuracy to on-time delivery along product calendars.

  • Demonstrating ability to action against feedback and execute agile decision making on prototype review and revision.

Skills for Success

You should be a proactive and creative professional with:

  • Graphic design expertise with strong ability to generate designs that are elevated, original, iconic, unique and innovative aligning with Vans culture.

  • Expertise in up-to-date, design tools and PLM systems, with experience in generative AI a plus.

  • Willingness to contribute to positive atmosphere and team environment as a collaborative, self-motivated, and accountable individual.

  • Strong relationship building and communication skills

  • Fluency in adhering to design corporate policies through required systems, tools and processes

A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor or Master’s degree in Graphic design or Fashion design are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
