Job Summary :

Under limited supervision, uses specialized knowledge and skills obtained through experience and training to proactively work with branch associates, branch leadership, divisional management, home office partners, and key stakeholders to deliver educational development programs for branch associates and branch management that support practice improvement at all levels. Deploys excellent consulting, facilitation and presentation skills to all clients, while adhering to department processes to deliver quality programs. Recommends solutions to moderately complex problems. Maintains regular contact with internal customers to identify, research and resolve training issues.

  • Ability to consult branch associates, branch management and financial advisors to leverage branch admin development programs and solutions in a meaningful and personalized manner.

  • Ability to uphold and champion consistent processes that are conducive to the overall team goals of upholding both quality and scale of the Branch Admin Development programs.

  • Ability to develop intimate understanding of all programs, along with their versatile application, in order to contribute directly to the growth of program impact and reach.

  • Uphold facilitation principles through facilitation of virtual (live and recorded) and in-person educational sessions

  • Ability to present information in a compelling and customized fashion to a variety of audiences.

  • Consults with Branch Management to ensure that newly hired associates are set up for success through branch admin development programs, while ensuring that existing team members are supported in maximizing their contributions.

  • Implements educational solutions that meet business needs while balanced with scalable and repeatable processes, program quality and consistency, and instructional design practices.

  • Partners with educational resources and 3rd party providers to leverage technologies and resources to best streamline processes and add business value.

  • Develops comprehensive educational plans related to maximizing programs to best advance branch level practice management, team management, compliance, regulatory requirements and technology goals.

  • Provides a benchmark for evaluating performance to ensure new associates are performing at a high level throughout their developmental timelines.

  • Utilizes advanced presentation skills to inform, persuade and inspire.

  • Utilizes facilitation skills to generate ideas, analyze ideas, problem solve, catalyze associate development and learning, and/or inspire action related to processes and key concepts; advances the development of enhanced knowledge, skills and abilities of the audience.

  • Supports and contributes to Private Client Group (PCG) initiatives including but not limited to Practice Management and the PCG vision by developing and delivering effective educational sessions, materials, updates, and activities that align.

  • Collaborates with various department leaders to ensure curricula and programming aligns with the firm’s objectives.

  • Coaches, mentors and trains less experienced associates.

  • Identifies educational opportunities for operational associates, performs needs assessments, and designs learning modules.

  • Researches policies, procedures, resources, and materials to make decisions independently, pursue meaningful solutions, and communicate decisions with management.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Working structure, policies, mission and strategies of the organization.

  • Advanced knowledge of branch operations and branch management, along with the firm’s key technology, general processes, and compliance procedures as used by branch support and management teams.

  • Concepts, principles and practices of the financial services industry.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of six (6) years of operations experience in the adult education principles and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in operations or compliance.

or

  • Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience approved by Human Resources.

Licenses/Certifications :

  • SIE required provided that an exemption or grandfathering cannot be applied.

  • FINRA Series 7 license or ability to obtain within six (6) months.
