Visiting Instructor (Health and Physical Education/Sport Pedagogy) - Full Time Health and Exercise Science Description Position Details: Gustavus Adolphus College invites applications for a full-time, one-year position of Visiting Instructor (or Assistant Professor with appropriate qualifications) in the Department of Health and Exercise Science to begin August 15, 2025. The department anticipates a continued vacancy, and the successful candidate may be considered for continuation for two additional years, contingent upon favorable review and the continuing needs of the College. Applicants must have current authorization to work in the United States. Gustavus will not sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position. Employment Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE), Benefits-Eligible; Exempt (Salaried) Things you will do: Teach 7 course equivalents over the academic year. Typically, 3 in the Fall and 4 in the Spring. Two of the sections in Fall and/or Spring may be the same course. Primary teaching responsibilities will include Secondary Health and Physical Education Methods, Adapted Physical Education and Sport, Foundations of Sport and Coaching, Motor Learning and Development, and potentially Biomechanics or other Kinesiology related courses.
