The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for supporting/coordinating activities related to the traffic process, such as pre-notification of inbound material, Scheduling of Inbound material for receiving. Maintaining an overview of the flow of trucks in and out of the facility. Monitoring phones. Maintain Dock Schedule daily. Daily planning, scheduling, and shipping loads in SEMS and distributing to shop floor for scheduled work. Responsible for other clerical duties as required. Customer service mindset to maintain working relation with carriers and customers. Following up with carriers for ETA to provide on-time delivery are followed. Qualifications: 1-3 years experience in related field preferred 1+ years experience in truck dispatch preferred Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications Strong Excel knowledge and experience Logistics experience Knowledge preferred of SEMS, OPEN DOCK Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills required Proven teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently Ability to work in a fast-paced environment EOE/M/F/VETS/DISABILITY
