Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in St. Paul, Minnesota

Description

We are seeking a driven and analytical Accountant who is looking to transition more into the FP& A space as a Senior Financial Analyst. This individual will participate in month end close activities, will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on financial project administration and research/development, aid in preparing documentation in support of fixed asset ledger, assist with budgeting and profitability, and other ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience

• Proficiency in Corporate Accounting is mandatory.

-Fixed asset experience

-Project accounting experience

• Comprehensive knowledge of financial forecasting, corporate finance, and information analysis.

• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications.

• Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages.

• Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills.

• Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.

• Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments.

• Must be able to improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field is required. Advanced degree is a plus.

• Professional accreditation such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.

• Exceptional analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges.

• Familiarity with financial software and systems.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to function well in a team-oriented setting.

• Demonstrable leadership abilities.

• Attention to detail and accuracy are imperative.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
