Regions Hospital Speech Therapist Flex in St. Paul, Minnesota

Regions Hospital is seeking a Speech Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team at our state-of-the-art facility at the HealthPartners Neuroscience Center working a part-time position, no weekends or evenings. As a Speech Therapist you will provide direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. This position uses a variety of speech therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain. Our SLPs provide speech, language and swallowing evaluation and treatment across a variety of neurologic diagnoses (stroke, brain injury, concussion, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis). Experience in head and neck cancer care and Modified Barium Swallow Studies preferred. We work collaboratively as a team so strong communication skills are desired. Work Schedule: 0.60 FTE, Day Shift Required Qualifications: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology. Licensed/registered/certified with applicable governing Speech Language Pathology board(s) and Minnesota Department of Health. CPR Certification (Basic Life Support). Preferred Qualifications: Experience in similar setting/diagnoses Advanced certification and/or licensure to support position.
