Job Description Sales Development Administrator Position location is flexible and may office from a sales office location in St.Paul, MN; Winona, MN; Brookfield, WI; Green Bay, WI; Greensboro, NC Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 8:00am - 5:00pm OVERVIEW: Working as Full-time Sales Development Administrator, you will support sales teams including National Accounts, Government, Industry Specialists and local branches by executing the sales enablement and development strategy. You will provide sales teams with information, content and tools to help them sell more effectively and efficiently. You will align sales, stakeholders and resources to promote best practices and an environment of continuous improvement. This team's focus is the development, management and communication of sales enablement and role readiness resources and content. This includes reference and procedural guides, interactive tutorial content, videos, podcasts, informative emails, newsfeed posts and PowerPoint presentations. You will also support Fastenal branches serving as a support center for to National Accounts processes. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Developing, managing and communicating sales enablement and role readiness content and activities o Collaborating with marketing for content creation for sales resources and collateral o Providing customer service to internal stakeholders o Facilitating new employee role sales readiness (onboarding) programs, and workshops (virtual and in person) o Creating, editing and publishing tutorial content, PowerPoints, videos and podcasts REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o Possess at least 2 years of Fastenal work experience OR have 2 years of work experience in customer service, sales, marketing, education or administration o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment o Work independently as well as in a team environment o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: o Previous experience creating and editing sales enablement & development material (reference guides, tutorials, documentation, presentations, etc.) o Knowledge of sales processes or supporting sales o Previous experience creating and editing multimedia content o Previous experience using SharePoint management o Previous experience using sales management tools such as Microsoft 365 dynamics ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
