The Procurement Manager - Technology will have leadership forEcolab's Indirect procurement category and drive high impact initiatives across assigned spend, key categories and strategic supplier relationships to deliver operational efficiencies and strong OI improvements through internal collaboration with stakeholders and enabling a high-performance sourcing team. A proven track record of strong leadership, business acumen, and strategic thinking in conjunction with outstanding ability to drive results are essential. Location: Position available in St. Paul area following hybrid policy, 60/40. What You Will Do: Responsible for total cost management, risk management, accelerated supplier innovation and procurement processimprovements across the organization in their respective category (Professional Services and IT) Develops and drives the overall strategy of respective categories inalignment with Ecolab, functional, and business unit objectives Lead and develops strategic supplier relationships at the executivelevel Attract, hire, and retain top sourcing and procurement talent to ensure appropriate succession planning. Coach, mentor, and develop direct/indirect reports within assigned global procurement team to improve skills, execution, and results. Develops and deploys organizational structure to support functional strategies. Drives to achieve 100% engagement with the righttalent, right people, in the right place. Develop global sourcing strategies and drive execution within assigned indirect area using Strategic Sourcing Principles. Establish and update processes and metrics todeliver maximize savings Maintain awareness of global macro-economic factors thatdirectly impact Ecolab's procurement costs. Develop alternatesourcing strategies as these factors begin to negatively impact Ecolab'spurchasing operations Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree 7 yearsof relevant procurement or IT experience Previous experience negotiating complex enterprise-wide contracts No immigration sponsorship available Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Related Field (Business, Technical, Finance, Legal) MBA Preferred Prior IT procurement experience (SAP, Microsoft, Cloud Services) Previous experience balancing competing priorities of C-suite stakeholders Prior experience in IT or procurement leadership roles Previous professional experience in a global (Fortune 500 or similar) multi-national company with operations in all major world markets and regions Strategic thinking and business-oriented leader who has demonstrated the ability to understand the goals of a global business and to identify and execute on company-wide opportunities Strong financial acumen Outstanding track record of leading complex projects with diverse and conflicting demands/expectations to deliver impactful results to Ecolab Drive business-oriented thinking through Businesses, IT, Procurement and Operational teams Strong prioritization ability in a dynamic business environment Strong skills developing and educating subordinates and peers Good organizational and planning skills: eye for details together with high-level perspective Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral Benefits Ecolab strives to provide comprehensive and market-competitive benefits to meet the needs of our associates and their families.Click here to see our benefits.
