Drive the overall execution of quality development with hands-on leadership in driving design sessions, architectural choices and implementation. Lead and participate in system architecture discussions, code reviews and provide feedback on performance, logic, and maintenance issues. Work cross-functionally with a range of business functions, customers, and technical partners to balance business means with team resources. Serve as technical evangelist to communicate across technical and non-technical personnel at all levels. Mentor and work with various technical implementation teams: hardware, firmware, cloud software, QA, Technical Support. Lead development of proof of concepts and evaluation of new technologies. Ensure integrity of technical documentation and sustainability of product support. Foster a culture that embraces innovating for impact and continuous improvement. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign education equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field plus three (3) years of experience leading or managing hardware, firmware, and software delivery in an engaging environment or, alternatively, a Master s degree or foreign education equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field plus one (1) year of experience leading or managing hardware, firmware, and software delivery in an engaging environment. Specific skills/other requirements - demonstrated Expertise (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): demonstrated expertise leading individual and team development and performance management, including assessing, coaching and providing feedback; demonstrated expertise leading cross functional product development teams in an Agile environment, including aligning software, firmware and hardware efforts; demonstrated expertise articulating architectural decisions and roadmaps at an implementation level; demonstrated expertise analyzing cloud-based systems and technologies, such as REST APIs, Lambdas, AWS Services and NoSQL databases to ensure scalability, security and disaster recovery; demonstrated expertise optimizing code for performance and scalability, including use of computing systems, software architecture, data structures and algorithms; demonstrated expertise deploying and operating Amazon Web Services and on-premise applications; and, demonstrated expertise with IoT devices, IoT device management and IoT monitoring systems to monitor data generated by IoT devices.
