Ecolab Inc Marketing Manager - Hand Hygiene Product Portfolio in St. Paul, Minnesota

Ecolab is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead the current Hand Hygiene Product Portfolio for its Healthcare Infection Prevention North America business.The successful candidate will be responsible for profitably accelerating category growth, by creating strategies and implementing plans that differentiate Ecolab from the competition. This role requires significant collaboration to influence other functions in implementing strategies and plans, driving growth and retention initiatives, tracking progress and managing expectations with leadership, and owning the hand hygiene category. Location: Ecolab Global Headquarters, St. Paul, MN (Hybrid) What You Will Do: Manage the entire hand hygiene product category by owning portfolio management, positioning, value prop messaging, value communication, pricing, GPO strategy for commercializing new innovation and sunsetting old products or platforms. Own sales growth, customer retention and profitability improvement of the hand hygiene product portfolio by leading strategic planning and executing marketing initiatives. Drive category growth by providing Ecolab sales team with leadership and marketing support including new sales tools, training programs, commercial trends and industry insights. Commercialize new innovation in the go-to-market phase, including creating GPO strategies, capturing value through pricing and executing promotional initiatives. Understand the competitive landscape, create compelling value stories and execute customer retention plans, in partnership with the sales and field teams. Develop in-depth customer and market knowledge. Stay current on standards, trends and practices to understand the impact on Ecolab's product line. Communicate market needs and opportunities for innovation to R&D. Analyze data to recommend plans, programs, pricing and positioning strategies that improve profitability. Partner with finance to support the sales team in managing GPO contract positions and customer portfolios with a focus on driving profitability. Execute operational plans to streamline the current product portfolio. Create and execute strategies for demand generation, own sales and inventory forecasting, and validate success through category financial performance analysis. Lead cross functional teams, as needed, to deliver project results. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 8+ years professional marketing experience; or MBA with 5+ years of professional marketing experience. Preferred Qualifications: Proven leadership, setting long-term vision, strategic thinking, planning and execution, business acumen, strong oral and written communication, good attention to detail and use of sound judgment in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work independently while handling multiple tasks with a proven track record of results. Prior experience in B2B Product Portfolio Management or working with GPOs. Expertise in commercializing innovation post launch, value propositions, strategic planning, forecasting and pricing. Experience witha wide range of marketing tools,including strategic and tactical product marketing capabilities. Ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional partners at different levels of the organization to achieve the best outcomes.
