Regions Hospital Lead Occupational Therapist-Behavioral Health in St. Paul, Minnesota

Regions Hospital is seeking a Lead Occupational Therapist to work a .8 FTE in our Mental Health units. The Lead Occupational Therapist provides leadership within the BH OT team in the areas of clinical practice, student coordination and new employee orientation. Lead OT is accountable for providing quality Occupational Therapy services including evaluation, assessment, implementation, treatment, program planning, communication, education and documentation of adult and geriatric patients on the Behavioral Health units. These services are provided in the form of one-to-one interaction and short-term groups. Performs other duties as assigned. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy (ACOTE); includes completion of a 6-month internship in required areas of Occupational Therapy. 3 years experience as an Occupational Therapist Eligible for registration as an Occupational Therapist with the National Board of Certified Occupational Therapists (NBCOT) or the successful completion of the National Certification Exam and licensure with the State of Minnesota.
