Looking for an On-Call Housekeeper- Hours and days will vary as it would be an on-call position or to cover PTO. Job Objective(s) Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the campus and ensuring that visitors, residents, families, and staff have a positive impression. Additional duties include cleaning of common areas, project cleaning and seasonal cleaning duties as assigned. Weekly cleaning & laundry in resident's rooms. Job Responsibilities and Duties * Provide consistent & quality work to the residents and staff * Maintain a clean and orderly work area and cleaning cart * Follow job routines and instructions according to the assigned housekeeping schedule. * Assure resident apartment and laundry are clean and sanitized as scheduled. * Maintain inventory for daily needs & notify supervisor of supply issues * Assist in keeping all common areas neat, clean and safe. * Follow the daily schedule to ensure all tasks are accomplished in a timely manner. Cleaning duties includes but not limited to: * Vacuuming hallways, elevators and furniture * Washing inside glass doors and windows * Sweeping and/or mopping floors * Cleaning and stocking supplies in restroom * Dusting * Rubbish/trash removal * Washing / polishing woodwork and baseboards * Seasonal duties as assigned Qualifications * Minimum 1 year housekeeping/cleaning experience * Able to make responsible choices and decisions, and act in the resident's best interest. * Ability to motivate oneself and work independently * Ability to be flexible and to work with other staff and residents * Knowledge of cleaning chemicals * Good work ethic * Maintains confidentiality * Able to read, write, spell, do basic math, speak and understand English.
