RAYUS now offers DailyPay! Work today, get paid today! SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - REMOTE RAYUS Radiology, formerly Center for Diagnostic Imaging, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team. Accountants at RAYUS Radiology are exposed to many specific areas of accounting including month-end close, fixed assets and depreciation, purchase accounting via acquisitions, preparing pro-formas for growth initiatives, market budgets and ad-hoc analysis to assist market leaders, and financial reviews with board members. JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for performing accounting-related activities as assigned with minimal coaching. Performs month-end close duties, prepares and reconciles financial statements, prepares audit and budget schedules, and supports management decisions through financial analysis. This position is a full-time fully remote position, Mon thru Fri; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM This job may be performed remotely anywhere within the continental United States. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Compile and analyze information to prepare journal entries to general ledger accounts Perform timely and accurate reconciliation of balance sheet accounts Ensure accounting activity for assigned area(s) is recorded accurately and timely Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements Present monthly financial statements to operations leaders and/or board of directors Participate in the annual budget process Assist in the year end audit Research standard accounting transactions (invoice retrieval, inquiry of operations team) Monitor progress on capital projects and spend Complete complex financial modeling (e.g. Cash flow modeling, pro-forma financial analysis) Answer questions from operations leaders Provide guidance and coaching to Accountant I and II / Peers Collaborate with other departments within the Organization COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES) REQUIRED: Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures of GAAP Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and protocols, including HIPAA Skill in organizing and prioritizing work and following assignments through to completion Skill in written and verbal communication Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage schedule to meet established deadlines Ability to be flexible and adaptable to change Ability to effectively handle details with accuracy Ability to deliver high quality customer service to internal and external customers by communicating with integrity and compassion Skill in analytical thinking for root cause identification and resolution Ability to take initiative to improve processes, think strategically, streamline workload, and identify trends Ability to convey complex subject matter clearly Ability to research complex accounting transactions SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS: Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Three or more years of accounting experience Intermediate Excel Skills Preferred: Advanced certification (CPA, CMA) Public accounting experience Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains software Along with pay, the company provides a benefit program with real financial value.
