Responsibilities In the role of Noise Specialist 1, we'll count on you to Conduct noise acoustical and/or vibration studies on various projects Assist in the preparation of data collection from the field and subconsultants, and develop noise reports Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables Work independently on small projects or assist more-senior scientists on larger projects Interact with staff and work with local regulators and subs Work on architectural acoustics, building or environmental noise, and vibration-related analyses Use state-of-the-art instruments to measure noise and vibration, and to process and analyze that data is required Perform other related duties as necessary #LI-LA1 Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Acoustics, Math, Physics or closely related field GIS understanding and GPS Self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency with state-of-the-art software used to process and analyze measurement data Must also be familiar with relevant ISO and related acoustical standards An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must Why HDR At HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for it's also about what you do and how you do it.
