Job Title: Sr Inventory Coordinator

Location: St. Louis

About the Role

This is an extraordinary chance for a motivated individual to join our exceptional manufacturing team as a Sr Inventory Coordinator. You will have a crucial role in maintaining seamless material flow and ensuring accurate inventory management within our brand new facility. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a cooperative setting and is dedicated to achieving tangible outcomes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform required inventory sizing tasks using a Plan for Every Part (PFEP) to control and stock assigned components, materials, and supplies.

  • Lead and guide product handlers in day-to-day activities.

  • Optimize inventory levels by managing raw materials.

  • Coordinate REO sizing and standards using data from PFEP with Planners and Customers to ensure correct quantities.

  • Develop Minimum/Maximum REO Quantities (MOQ) with customer feedback.

  • Provide direction to Product Handlers to ensure material flows through the facility timely based on the PFEP and site SOPs.

  • Partner with Manufacturing Planners and Coordinators to communicate changes in usage patterns and adjust the PFEP accordingly.

  • Maintain team spreadsheets and manage document change processes.

  • Run and monitor or participate in daily cycle counts.

  • Ensure inventory and transactional accuracy; lead root cause and countermeasure analysis of cycle count adjustments.

  • Correct errors in the ERP system to ensure material accuracy.

  • Add inventory as needed for immediate consumption.

  • Generate and distribute expiry reports.

  • Process waste and scrap forms.

  • Conduct spot reconciliation of MBRs to verify and analyze usage against provided components.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience

  • Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or related field.

  • Preferred: Experience with cycle counts and performing inventory audits and investigations.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Ability to document records in English and communicate orally and in writing in English.

  • Intermediate computer knowledge (to navigate ERP systems, Outlook, MS Office programs) and basic math skills.

  • Interpersonal/customer service skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and internal customers.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment under various temperatures, including cold room and/or freezer room.

  • PPE required: safety glasses, lab coat, safety shoes, and gloves.

  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 40 pounds regularly and heavier weights with assistance.

  • Ability to handle hazardous chemicals safely.

  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours, kneel, crouch, and walk.
