ManpowerGroup Packaging Operator in St. Louis, Missouri
Our client in the chemical and packaging industry is seeking a Chemical Packaging Tech 2 to join their team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be part of the Packaging Department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have good time management and organizational skills, be willing to learn, and have previous experience in a chemical or packaging environment.
Job Title: Chemical Packaging Tech 2
Location: St. Louis, MO
Pay Range: $20-23 per hour
What's the Job?
Stage, fill (manually or semi-automatically), cap, label and over pack liquid, powder and hyophilized products per approved packing specifications with utilizing all required safety equipment
Complete appropriate packaging documentation per ISO procedures and deliver products to inventory
Fill, cap, and label chemical products
Follow all quality and safety procedures
Support quality systems
Trains others and work in a team setting
What's Needed?
5-6 years in chemical or packaging environment
Mixing, labeling, working chemicals
Must be good/understand basic math
Basic data entry
Basic computer skills and literacy
Willingness to learn
Physical and respirator fit required
Must be clean shaved daily
Occasionally lift and or move up to 50 Ibs with lifting equipment
Ability to see close and long distance
Required to wear air helmet, mask, safety shoes, apron rubber and tyvek suits, protective gloves and safety glasses/goggles while performing in this position
Previous SAP experience/familiarity (good to have)
Previous ISO/Pharma/biotech experience (good to have)
